AJHS begins 2014 in celebration of the Feast of Sto Nino

January 13, 2014

The Ateneo Junior High School students had their very first batch liturgical celebration this 2014 with the Feast day of the Sto Nino.

Presiding over the mass was a relatively newly ordianed priest who is not a stranger to basic education.  Albay native Fr Roy Cenon Ragas SJ whose prior assignment was East Timor was once a Math Teacher at the Ateneo High School.  His homily , which took the for of a modern day parable about how faith changes one's perspectives was easy to the ears of our Junior High School boys because it was a story that was very well delivered .

Before the Mass attendees moved back to  their rooms after the mass, Mrs Carmela C Oracion took the podium to thank those who organized the very first mass of the year . She also left some points for reflection for the students to think about throughout the day, emanating from the engaging homily that Fr Roy delivered.
