Ateneo JHS is champion and 2nd runnerup of Phil. Science Inter-School Olympiad

(L-R) Raphael Francisco P. Mallillin, Neil Dominic V. Torres and Aaron John V. Cacas are champions of the Philippine Science High School Interschool Integrated Science Olympiad.

The team comprised of Ateneo Junior High School (AJHS) students Raphael Francisco P. Mallillin (La Storta/9-Favre), Neil Dominic V. Torres (Cardoner/10-Chabanel) and Aaron John V. Cacas (Pamplona/10-Yuki) emerged as champion of the 8th Philippine Science High School Interschool Integrated Science Olympiad. Another AJHS team comprised of Kodi B. Senga (Pamplona/10-Whitbread), Gerard Mikhail C. Argonza (Montserrat/10-Mangin), and Miguel Lorenzo G. Baquiran (Montserrat/9-Kisai) placed 3rd in the same competition, which was held in the main campus of Philippine Science High School in Quezon City last January 31, 2019.

The competition consisted of a written round, a practical test which involved performing an experiment, and an oral presentation.
