Ateneo de Manila is overall champ of PAYA tkd tourney

With a medal haul of 11 golds, seven silvers, and nine bronzes, Ateneo de Manila bested six other schools in Metro Manila and emerged as overall champion of the Philippine Athletic Youth Association (PAYA) Taekwondo Championship. From this total, Ateneo Grade School (AGS) jins were responsible for eight golds, four silvers and five bronzes, while Ateneo Junior High School (AJHS) jins contributed three golds, three silvers, and four bronzes.
The details of the medals won by AJHS athletes are as follows:

Aki Gulmatico (C9-Baena): gold in kyorugi
Niko Macasaet (L8-Delgado): gold in kyorugi
Alonzo Pasion (P7-Pignatelli): gold in kyorugi
Noah Formoso (L7-Colombiere): silver in poomsae + bronze in kyorugi
Nathan Goño (L7-Claver): bronze for poomsae + bronze in kyorugi
Manuel Garcia (P9-Southwell): silver in kyorugi
Carlos David (P8-Pongracz): silver in kyorugi
Gabe Samson (C8-Ashley): bronze in kyorugi

The PAYA taekwondo championships were held in the Ateneo de Manila High School Covered Courts on February 2, 2020. The other schools that participated in the competition were La Salle Greenhills, Xavier School, Colegio San Agustin, Diliman Preparatory School, and Claret School of Quezon City.
