February 15, 2018

The Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health’s (ASMPH) national research team placed third in the translational studies category of the 51st Association of Philippine Medical Colleges (APMC) National Convention.

“I believe we did well in the competition and in representing ASMPH. The teams that competed have to be commended for the time and effort they put in preparing to be able to perform at their best. We hope this would raise the bar of how we prepare for academic competitions and would eventually result i us bagging the championship the next opportunity we get,” said delegation head ASMPH Student Council President Barce Barcelon.

The APMC National Convention is an annual gathering of medical students all over the country. This year’s convention was hosted by the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila last February 8 to 10, 2018 with the theme “LINANG: Shaping Physicians to respond to Challenging Times” which aims to defy the future physicians to be more productive, competitive and receptive.
