The European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC) is an interdisciplinary center formed by 41 universities of the European Union Member States. It serves as the focal organization of the EU-funded network called the Global Campus of Human Rights.

The EIUC-Global Campus partnership offers a Master’s degree on Human Rights and Democratisation. This is done through seven (7) Regional programs spread across Europe, South East Europe, Caucasus, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Carribean and the Arab world; and is participated in by 100 universities.

On February 23,  2019, the EIUC amended its statute and changed its name from EIUC to Global Campus (GC). Manfred Nowak, the Secretary General of the Global Campus of Human Rights, made a call for all partner universities of the regional programs to become members. Thus, on 10-11 December 2019, the GC Assembly met at the University of Pretoria, South Africa where new members to the GC were admitted and welcomed. Ateneo de Manila University became one of its newest members. Amparita Sta. Maria, the Director of the Graduate Legal Studies who was nominated by Fr. Jett Villarin, S.J. as his proxy, represented ADMU.

As part of the regional program in the Asia-Pacific, Ateneo Law School (ALS) receives students enrolled in the Master in Human Rights and Democratisation from Mahidol University.  The students take the following human rights courses - Critical and Emerging Issues on Human Rights and Human Rights Norms and Mechanisms, which the ALS offers during the second semester. Faculty members from ADMU and ALS also become thesis advisers to the students enrolled in these courses.
