Aurma M. Manlangit

Ms. Aurma M. Manlangit is the current Director of the JVO Executive Education Program and teaches Modern Management, Human Resources Management for the Public in the MPM program of the School 
Aurma has an extensive work experience in development work, providing various research, capability-building and technical assistance services in the areas of project development and management, training, local governance and leadership and human resources development. She was connected with the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) for 17 years, and has been the Director for Training at the Center for Sustainable Local Development. She is actively involved in the implementation of various development projects that build capacities of people in various government agencies. She has also worked with various donor-institutions such as World Bank, GTZ, USAid, UNESCO, AusAid, NZAid, among others in addressing various governance issues.

She obtained an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and a Masters in Management from the University of the Philippines (UP). She also obtained a Project Planning and Management Diploma from the National Institute for Public Administration (INTAN) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and a Diploma Course in Human Resources and Development at Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
