Ateneo CORD Attends Ignatian Spirituality in Education Workshop (ISEW)

June 22, 2015

Last May 25-26, 2015, the Ateneo CORD staff were participants for a change, as they attended and completed the Ignatian Spirituality in Education Workshop (ISEW) held at the Sacred Heart Retreat House and Seminar Center.

Through the workshop, the Ateneo CORD staff sought to find resonance and alignment between their personal journey and that of St Ignatius; better understand and appreciate the mission, vision and core values that are at the core of the Ignatian way of proceeding, and how these impact on their role in Ateneo; and discover meaning and sense of purpose in their work as a way of sharing in the mission of the University, the Society of Jesus, and ultimately in God’s work.

The workshop was conducted by the Ateneo Office of Mission and Identity, and speakers for the different sessions included Fr. Jose VC Quilongquilong, SJ, Fr Jose M. Cruz, SJ, Fr. Patrick Dominador Z. Falguera, SJ, and Fr. Peter O. Pojol, SJ.
