The Ateneo de Manila High School emerged as champion of the PAYA (Philippine Athletic Youth Association) Badminton Tournament held last Saturday, January 19, at the Moro Lorenzo Sports Center. Among the schools which team Ateneo beat were Xavier, De La Salle Zobel, and Lourdes School of Quezon City. Magis awardee Jon Michael S. Kimpo of 1-A
For getting straight A's in their academic subjects and straight A's in conduct and deportment, three Ateneo de Manila High School students were given Magis Awards for their exemplary performance in the second term of school year 2012-2013. The Ateneo de Manila High School PRADA Chess Team emerged as champion of the 2012 PRADA (Private Schools Athletic Development Association) chess tournament held in October, 2012. Playing for Ateneo High School were Pancho Carlos (1-H), Ralph Manahan (3-K), Jett Marcos (2-B), JV Marcos (3-K), Migs Medina (1-O), and Paco Rivera (2-A).
