Recent Ateneo de Manila High School graduate Jose Luis Benesa or "Jolo" for short, won the Silver Medal in Guitar Hero3, at the World Cyber Games Asian Championship in Singapore. The games were held last Sunday, August 10, with Jolo beating representatives from 14 countries. In the final round, New Zealand and the Philippines battled for the gold medal. It was a close fight, with New Zealand leading only by a small margin. As mentioned by the host, both are winners who are at par with one other.
Jolo was the only representative of Philippine Team that made it to the finals. He was given the Philippine flag as a token for his achievement for the country. He won cash prizes and a lot more. Jolo is a member of the AHS class of 4F 2008.
