Ateneo bags 1st Runner-Up in 2019 PANAnaw Brand Communications Awards

Eleven students from the Ateneo John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM) bagged 1st Runner-Up in the Philippine Association of National Advertisers Foundation’s (PANAF) PANAnaw Brand Communications Student Competition Grand Finals held last November 23, 2019 in Assumption College Makati. 

JGSOM bested other schools in the written round and final presentation on an integrated marketing campaign for Rebisco’s challenger corn chips brand, Tostas. With the campaign “#SanaAll: Sa Tostas, wala nang sana-sana,” the students linked Tostas’ unique dual-flavored proposition to Filipino millennials’ ability to achieve diverse aspirations. 

The presenting team at the Finals was composed of Miguel Morales (4 BS ME) and Jenellyn Ang (4 BS ME), Annicka Koteh (4 BS ME), and Mayumi Mariano (4 BS ME). Several others aided in crafting the campaign, including Carissa Ang (4 BS ME), Gail Mereria (4 BS CTM), Danielle Cabahug (4 BS CTM), Lance Lagamayo (4 BFA ID), Vince Velilla (3 BS ME), Pilar Angliongto (3 AB COM), and Avery Chan (2 BS ME). The team was mentored by official coaches Dr. Anna A. Mendiola and Ms. Matec Villanueva of the JGSOM Marketing and Law faculty.
