Ateneo Wins 1st Runner Up in 2017 PANA Marketing Competition

Ateneo de Manila was 1st Runner Up in the Philippine Association of National Advertisers Foundation’s (PANAF) PANAnaw Awards Grand Finals, a nationwide intercollegiate marketing competition held last November 11, 2017. With the theme “Pinoy to the World: Pride in Our Culture and Our Talents”, participating teams were tasked to craft an IMC plan for the promotion of local arts and culture through the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.  Out of 28 teams who entered the elimination round, only 6 were selected to present in front of a distinguished panel of judges in the PANAnaw Grand Finals. 
 
The presenting team at the Finals was composed of JGSOM BS Management Engineering and BS Communications Technology Management seniors Katrina Chan, Ken Caliwara, Bettina de los Santos, Jasmin Inaldo, and Tricia Sumampong, along with their technical director Samantha Tangco (3 BS Information Technology Entrepreneurship). With them in the team were BS Management Engineering seniors Isabelle Marice Lim, Isabelle Musni, and Ianna Sandico, BS Communications Technology Management senior Patricia Gabrielle Coronel, and BS Management Engineering juniors Jude Amiscaray, Kyra Co, Ian Pangilinan, Carina Chua, and Frances Florendo.  The official coaches of the Ateneo PANA team were Dr. Anna A. Mendiola, Chairperson, JGSOM Marketing & Law Department, and Ms. Matec Villanueva, JGSOM Marketing & Law faculty.
