Eleven Ateneo Senior High School mathletes earned medal awards during the Heat Round of the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) 2019. Winning gold awards were Troy Tabujara (11-Realino), Brian Dela Cruz (11-Nakaura), Marion de Leon (11-San Vitores), Brevin Que  (11-Owen), Neil Que (12-Ogilvie), and Nikki Chan (11-Perez). Winning silver awards were Marielle Llenado (11-Perez), Sophia Algenio (11-Angelis), Ninna Rivera (11-Perez), and Andrea Senson (11-Realino). Bagging the bronze award was Justin Lim (11-Nakaura).  Because of their award finishes in the heat round, these ASHS mathletes are all qualified to compete in the final round of the TIMO, which will be held in Thailand in April 2020. Thanks in part to the outstanding performances of these math wizards, TIMO-Philippines also recognized Ateneo de Manila as one of TIMO’s Top Five Schools in the country.
