Strategizing
in the Family Business
The
8th Family Business Breakfast Roundtable with the theme Strategizing
in the Family Business will be held on 15 March 2005, at the Gracelane
Hotel, San Fernando, Pampanga, from 730 a.m. to 1030 am.
Mr.
Ricardo Mercado, Chair – Department of Leadership and Strategy of the
John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM), will be the Guest Speaker.
His talk will cover areas of Strategic Management, Planning and
Implementation and link these to how family members can be more
participative in strategizing. Family systems and issues will also be
covered in the discussion. Meanwhile, Mr. Rudy Ang, Dean – JGSOM, will
give the opening remarks.
The
Breakfast Roundtable was organized upon the invitation of the Pampanga
Chamber of Commerce (Pamcham) through the leadership of Mr. Levy Laus and
Mr. Rene Romero, President and Vice-President, respectively. It will be
the first time that the event will be held outside Metro Manila.
