Opens Doors to Freshman Class of 2005
The John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM) will hold its annual Orientation and Open House for incoming freshmen on February 20, 27, and March 6, 2005.
The Open House will give the students the opportunity to hear from the Dean about what JGSOM has to offer and talk to the Program Directors of the courses that they are considering. They will also sit in on short demonstration classes that will give them a taste of what business studies at the Ateneo is all about. An optional campus tour will also be conducted for those interested in seeing more of the campus.
In his letter to the incoming freshmen, Mr. Rudy Ang, Dean of the JGSOM, said, "The choice of school and study program can be a stress-filled decision...we realize that [they] might want to know more about JGSOM and the various programs that we offer before [they] make the final decision." There will be six sessions for the Open House to accommodate as many students as possible. Parents of the incoming freshmen are also invited to attend. The various sessions will be held at the John Gokongwei School of Management Building ad the PLDT Convergent Technologies Center of the Ateneo de manila University.
