Ateneo cops silver in finance competition

Finance Team 2003 won first runner-up in the 5th InterCollegiate Finance
Competition (National Finals) by the Financial
Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) held last October 3 at
the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.
The team consisted of Kenneth Matthew T. Chua (III BS ME), Marco Ronald. G. Co (III BS ME), Cristina Wendy O. Gothong (IV BS MGT), Othello Peter L. Pobre (IV BS MGT-H), and Pablo Augusto S. Singson II (IV AB ECO-H). The members were trained by faculty members of the School of Management, namely: Ms. Marilyn A. Uy, Mr. Manuel Ricardo L.O. Sacramento, and Ms. Meriel S. Balcos.
FINEX is an association devoted to the continuing development and improvement of financial management techniques and the promotion of efficiency in business enterprises in the Philippines. It is also a founding member of the International Association of Financial Executives Institute (IafFel).
