Holds Family Breakfast Round Table
The John Gokongwei School of Management held another successful Family Breakfast Round Table at the Blue Room of the Ateneo Professional Schools at the Rockwell Center, Makati. The Round Table (formerly referred to as the Family Breakfast Forum) had for its topic "Policy Making for Family Businesses." The resource speakers and reactors included Mr. Erramon I. Aboitiz, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President of Aboitiz Equities Ventures, Mr. Cristino Panlilio, President of Balibago Waterworks Systems, and Mr. Carlos Cabochan, General Manager of CVC Supermarkets and Professorial Lecturer at JGSOM. During the open forum, the speakers addressed family business concerns such as creating clear guidelines of the involvement of family members in the business and choice of leaders to help ensure the healthy growth of the family business.
The Leadership and Strategy Department sponsored the event, which was attended by fifty participants.
