Programs
The
Management-related programs of the Ateneo are, by design, General
Management programs that do not provide any functional area
specialization: that is we do not have degrees in Accounting,
Marketing, Finance, et al., unlike many other Business Schools. We believe
that this overall program design is consistent with the School of
Management's, as well as the Loyola Schools' theory of liberal
education.
Some students feel, however, that their own career and personal
development objectives require a greater degree of functional area
specialization that is available in our program design. Minor programs
were therefore set up within the School of Management to provide students
with the opportunity to have a structured and coherent program of study
within particular functional areas.
