Ateneo teams swept the Gold, Silver,
and Bronze Awards at the HSBC Young IT Entrepreneur
Awards 2005 on March 9, 2005.
The Gold Award went to Ateneo de
Manila’s Aaron Ho (III BS LM), Karlo Mortel
(III BS Mgt) and Steven Ng (III BS ComTech)
with their “eMusikero,” that caters to the Filipinos’
love for music by providing an online source of
legitimate music from mainstream and independent
Filipino artists.
The Silver Award went to Ateneo
techies Darren de Jesus (IV BS MIS) and John
Legisma (IV BS MIS) together with University of Asia
& the Pacific management student Crystal Lee, with “Wow
Travel,” which aims to redefine travel planning by
providing an online, real-time network of
tourism-oriented establishments where consumers can
customize the travel package most suited to them.
The Bronze Award went to Jenica Go
(IV AB Eco-H), Jor-el Soyangco (III BS ME) and
Johann Trinidad (III AB Psy), with their entry “ParkMe.”
The company’s mission is to decongest commercial
districts by providing an SMS-enabled parking
reservation service.
