Male and female students who are currently in Grade 6 at the time of application (SY 2023-2024).
Applicants should have excellent academic and deportment marks from their previous schools.
Applicants should be able to accomplish and complete the online application process of the Ateneo de Manila Junior High School through the help of their parents/guardians.
Will entrance exams be administered?
For SY 2024-2025, the entrance exams will be administered ONSITE at the Ateneo High School Covered Courts on December 9 and 10 (Saturday and Sunday):
Batch 1: December 9 from 7:00 am – 12:00 noon
Batch 2: December 9 from 1:00-6:00 pm
Batch 3: December 10 from 7:00 am -12:00 noon
When is the application period?
The ONLINE APPLICATION for Grade 7 SY 2024-2025 will start on SEPTEMBER 4, 2023 and will end on DECEMBER 4, 2023. This is the ONLY application period for Grade 7 SY 2024-2025.
The online application link will only be available on these dates. All applicants who have set up an account and paid the application fee will be included in the system when the application period closes. All applications which do not meet this requirement at the end of the application period will not be processed.
What are the requirements?
The application process is online. The following documents need to be uploaded to the system once an account has been set up and the payment made. Please prepare these documents ahead of time to facilitate the applications process. The documents have to be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format (for pictures) and PDF format (for documents):
Scanned copy of the applicant’s FINAL/COMPLETED GRADE 5 report card SY 2022-2023 (with signature of the Principal/Registrar and School logo);
Scanned copy of the applicant’s OFFICIAL GRADE 6 report card SY 2023-2024 (can be uploaded as long as the application is not yet accepted, as there is a LATE UPLOAD option on the system);
Colored ID picture with white background;
Scanned copy of the applicant’s COMPLETE (please include PAGE 2 if applicable) Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO copy, does not have to be recent);
Scanned copy of a one (1)-page Handwritten (print or cursive) AUTOBIOGRAPHY (English or Filipino) of the applicant.

Copy of ACR (Alien Certificate of Registration)
SPECIAL STUDY PERMIT issued by the Bureau of Immigration

Indicate the APPLICANT'S NAME and INFORMATION, not the parent's or guardian's.
Register an EMAIL ADDRESS of ONE parent, and set up a password to ACTIVATE your account. Please note that this PARENT EMAIL ADDRESS will be used for updates and other announcements within the application process. For AGS parents, please DO NOT USE your son’s obf account for registration. Remember the EMAIL ADDRESS and PASSWORD that you used, as the AJHS does not have access to open the application accounts.
Logging in to your account and paying the application fee
Wait for confirmation through email that you can activate your account. When you do so, you will be asked to input the same email address and a new password for your LOGIN ACCOUNT. Click the link to the site again and click LOG IN using this new password. You should be able to see the application page when you log in using this password.
Click the “PAYABLES” button to see the amount that you have to pay (Php 700.00 for AJHS), along with the reference number that you will use for your payment (this is a 9-digit application number which begins with 350).
Once you have received proof of payment from the bank, upload the receipt in the system.
The payment will be registered in the system after 4-5 days, as all payments pass through the University Central Accounting Office. Notification to proceed will be sent to the registered email address.
Accomplishing the Application Form
After payment is verified, log in to your account and accomplish the form. PLEASE TAKE TIME TO CLICK the FAQs button and READ THROUGH THE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS to guide you through the process. Upload the required documents online through the given link. Click SUBMIT so that the application form can be reviewed.
There will be several steps in the review of the form. The OAS cannot make the edits; only the parent/guardian of the applicant can do this. The editing notes will also be sent to the registered email address.
RETURN TO APPLICANT: Editing should be made based on the editing notes. Do not forget to Click SUBMIT after you are done editing. The application form will continue to be returned unless all editing notes are complied with.
ACCEPTED: Application form will be marked FOR EXAMINATION and notification will be sent to the registered email account.
Log in and click MANAGE SCHEDULE. There are THREE available time slots; choose the DATE and TIME of your choice.
Instructions will be sent for the EXAM DAYS through the AJHS-OAS webpage on ateneo.edu.
Before the applicant's scheduled exam day, PRINT OUT THE EXAM PERMIT, OAS COPY ONLY (there are two copies). The applicant must bring this on his/her exam day. There is no RECESS; there will only be short washroom and water breaks in between the exam. Exam materials will be provided.
Online interviews will start in January 2024. AN INTERVIEW INVITATION WILL BE SENT TO THE REGISTERED EMAIL ACCOUNT. Interview invitations will be sent TWO (2) days before the scheduled interview. The interview invitation is FOR THE APPLICANT ONLY.
After the online interview, wait for the results to be released through the application portal. Check your account starting April 15, 2024 for the result.
How much is tuition and other fees?
There is still no announcement about the tuition and fees for SY 2024-2025. For the present SY 2023-2024, tuition (excludes other fees and books) was Php 146, 223.22.
