About the Ateneo de Manila Professional Schools

Vice President for the Professional Schools
The Vice President for the Professional Schools oversees the University’s four professional schools, which offer advanced degrees in law, medicine, governance, and business.
The Ateneo Professional Schools (APS) is at the forefront of efforts to build a better nation through solutions-oriented and policy-relevant research, institutional outreach to society and the professions, and the formation of technically excellent and values-driven professionals.
The four schools that comprise the APS are the Ateneo Law School, Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Ateneo School of Government, and the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.

The four schools that comprise the Professional Schools are the Law School, Graduate School of Business, School of Government, and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
School of Law
Since 1936, The Ateneo Law School (ALS) is sworn to its mission of forming men and women “not only skilled in the science and art of the law, but also imbued with a burning passion for justice and the fervent desire to serve others.”
The ALS is at the forefront of the Philippine legal and judicial landscape. Its graduates are found in the ranks of the judiciary, from municipal trial courts to the Supreme Court, and are an influential force in both public and private institutions.
Graduate School of Business
The Ateneo Graduate School of Business aims to be a leading management educational institution in the Asia-Pacific region, for the business practitioner seeking to become a professional and ethical business leader committed to nation-building.
The institution offers programs to uphold a tradition of service and a high standard of academic excellence, to help business practitioners reach their full potential and growth: the Standard MBA program, the Middle Managers MBA program, the accelerated Ateneo-Regis MBA program, the specialized Health MBA program, and the Masters in Entrepreneurship.
School of Government
The Ateneo School of Government (ASOG) was established in 1996 as the public sector arm of the Graduate School of Business until it became an autonomous school unit of the Ateneo de Manila University in 2001.
Its main purpose is to provide an institutional vehicle for the development of public servants and a forum for dialogue and partnership among government, private, non-government, and people’s organizations.
School of Medicine and Public Health
Opened in 2007, The Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health pioneered an innovative curriculum to form outstanding clinicians, dynamic leaders and social catalysts. Graduates are conferred a joint MD-MBA with the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
The ASMPH graduate is rooted in Ignatian spirituality and the mission to transform the health system ad majorem Dei gloriam. S/he is the doctor of the future with skills to care for individual patients and to undertake public health solutions to address health and social problems.
