RE:              ACTING DEAN FOR INTERSESSION 2022, JOHN GOKONGWEI SCHOOL OF

                   MANAGEMENT

Based on the 30 April 2022 memo issued by Fr. Roberto Yap, SJ, we welcome to the Loyola Schools the new dean of the John Gokongwei School of Management, Dr. Roberto Martin N. Galang. 

We also thank Dr. Luis F. Dumlao, outgoing dean, for shepherding the developments in JGSOM during his 6-year deanship.

While Dr. Galang’s term officially begins in June 2022, the ongoing transition processes in his current post at the World Bank still need his presence and attention. To allow him to fulfill such responsibilities, he will be on leave for the duration of the Intersession (June-July 2022). Even as he is wrapping up his tasks at the World Bank, transitioning to the Loyola Schools is also a process that Dr. Galang is undergoing. We shall see him fully onboard in the Loyola Schools beginning August 2022.

The Acting Dean for the John Gokongwei School of Management for Intersession 2022 is Dr. Luis F. Dumlao. Thank you, Louie, for agreeing to take on two more months of duty and deferring the start of your sabbatical to August!
