She also serves as the Senior Vice President for Digital Transformation and Corporate Services of JG Summit Holdings Inc; General Partner and representative of the Gokongwei Family Office in early-stage venture capital fund, Kaya Founders; and General Manager of Gokongwei Brothers Foundation, which oversees the largest STEM scholarship program in the country, and whose recent donation to Ateneo de Manila made the establishment of our Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design (GBSEALD) possible.

Lisa holds an MS in Journalism (1993) from the School of Journalism of Columbia University, USA.

New Trustee elected for a 2-year term from November 2022 to November 2024:

He is also Accenture’s Corporate Citizenship lead for South East Asia, overseeing all CSR programs in the region.  As an industry leader, Lito was elected to the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) board from 2011 to 2021, and member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA) from 2006 to 2007. He is also active in the education sector and sits in several boards of local schools. Lito has been serving as a member of the board committee on the Ateneo Professional Schools since 2017.

Re-elected Trustees for 3-year terms from November 2022 to November 2025:

The other Trustees who were re-elected for 3-year terms each are Dr Anna Marie A Karaos, Mr Christopher T Po, Fr Jose VC Quilongquilong SJ, and Fr Roberto E N Rivera SJ.

On behalf of Ateneo de Manila, I thank Ms Gokongwei-Cheng, Mr Tayag, Dr Karaos, Mr Po and Frs Quilongquilong and Rivera for their generous willingness to provide strategic leadership and guidance to the University.

We thank as well Mr Wilson Sy for his invaluable service to the University as Trustee for 5 years, thereby contributing to strategic decisions on our academic programs, development projects, mission and identity. Mr Sy will continue to serve as member of the Board Committee on Finance and Budget, and the Sub-Committee on Investment.

We express too our appreciation and deep gratitude to Mr Lance Gokongwei, for his invaluable service to the University as Trustee for ten consecutive years and, within that span of time, as a Member of the Board's Advancement and Internationalization committees and as a Member and the Chair of the Board's Finance and Budget committee; with special acknowledgment of his stewardship of the Gokongwei family's most generous contributions to the growth of  the University, which has enabled it to fulfill its mission of educating and molding men and women in the Jesuit tradition of excellence and development of the whole person and to attain its high stature among Philippine universities, as well as international recognition among universities in the region and in the world.

We pray that God may continue to watch over our outgoing Trustees and bless all their endeavors.
