6 March 2023
MEMO TO:
All administrators, professionals and staff
MEMO FROM:
[Sgd.] Maria Victoria Cortez PhD
Vice President for Human Resources
SUBJECT:
Work Arrangements for 7 to 11 March 2023
In view of the ongoing jeepney strike, we will continue to be on a work from home mode until Saturday, 11 March 2023. In case positive developments lead to the settlement of the issue anytime before the said date, we shall report back onsite the day after the strike is lifted.
Employees who are currently on work from home in view of the renovation of their work spaces will continue performing their work offsite even if the strike is lifted. Any special work arrangements will have to be coursed through your respective unit heads for approval.
Employees whose work can only be done onsite but are hindered by the jeepney strike to report to the campus may file for emergency leaves.
Employees who wish to work onsite and who would not be hindered by the jeepney strike may do so, upon clearance given by their supervisors. Likewise, employees who were instructed by their supervisors to report onsite to provide support to units that need to carry out activities onsite (e.g., meetings, conferences, laboratory work, etc.) are expected to be present at the designated venue.
Please be guided accordingly.
