Sophia Ignatian Year Symposium: Jesuit Education and SDGs
Universities around the world have an important role to play in tackling the complex issues of sustainability. While sharing the same goal of contributing to sustainability, the practice of sustainability takes various shapes in each university. Having said that, we can say that the core of these shapes of sustainability is the increasing realization that reconnecting campuses, curricula, and students to nature goes a long way toward campus sustainability.
In commemoration of the Ignatian Year, this event is designed to discuss with AJCU-AP universities the challenges and issues that each university faces. We hope this will help us understand better each Jesuit university from a sustainability perspective.
