Greetings!

You are cordially invited to the Twenty-first Jaime V Ongpin Annual Memorial Lecture on Public Service in Business and Government by Mr. Raul Q. Montemayor, National Manager, Federation of Free Farmers Cooperatives, Inc. Mr. Montemayor’s lecture, Farmer Security is KEY to Food Security will be held at the Ateneo Professional Schools, Rockwell, Makati City, and live-streamed via YouTube on 21 October 2022, Friday, at 9:30 AM.

Following the lecture will be an open forum discussion with the following panel of reactors: Ka Rene Cerilla of the Pambansang Kilusan ng mga Samahang Magsasaka (PAKISAMA), Mr. Edgardo T. Valenzuela of the Ateneo School of Government and Loyola Schools, and Mr. Ernesto M. Ordoñez of the Alyansa Agrikultura.

The JVO Annual Memorial Lecture is a program of the Jaime V Ongpin Center for Business and Government (JVO Fund) and the Ateneo School of Government. The JVO Fund was established to help raise awareness of the Filipino people about pressing national development issues, in order to empower them to actively engage in nation-building. Delivered by business leaders, senior government officials, and leading academics, the lectures tackled critically important themes in the nexus of democracy and development, including climate change, corruption, education, federalism, globalization, health inequity, poverty, and national leadership.
