Brief Description of the Topic:
Notwithstanding the neglected status of the agricultural sector, our marginalized farmers became the country's food security backbone during the COVID-19 pandemic. This qualitative research utilized the narrative analysis that explored the shared experiences of 11 purposively selected Filipino organic farmers that provided a deeper understanding of their values, beliefs, and attitudes. Six main narratives emerged: health-consciousness, reconnecting with society, knowledge sharing, transforming through personal growth, entrepreneurial opportunity, and living in harmony with nature.
