About the speakers:
๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฎ has written two collections of short stories, including ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ค๐ต๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐ต๐ฐ๐ณ๐ช๐ฆ๐ด ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฆ๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ค๐ข ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ณ๐ข published by the Ateneo University Press, as well as a dozen collections of essays on film, literature, travel, rock music, popular culture, and current affairs. She has received Palanca Awards for her short stories, and the National Book Award for her collection of essays. Her first novel, ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฃ๐ณ๐ข๐จ๐ฆ is also published by Ateneo Press.
๐๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐ป ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ is the author of ๐ ๐ฏฬ๐ช๐จ๐ข and ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ถ๐ช๐ฆ๐ต ๐๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด which are both published by Ateneo Press. The latter won the Palanca Grand Prize, the Philippine National Book Award, and the Madrigal Gonzalez First Book Award. He teaches literature and creative writing at the Ateneo de Manila University and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Adelaide.
