Japan’s Experience on Peacebuilding: Bangsamoro’s Journey to Peace (The 4th JICA Chair Lecture Series)
The Japanese Studies Program, Department of Political Sciences, and the School of Social Sciences, in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), invite everyone to listen to our talk titled "Japan's Experience on Peacebuilding: Bangsamoro's Journey to Peace."
The talk will be held on 20 September 2023 (Wednesday), 3:00-5:00 pm, at Leong Hall Auditorium.
In this talk, our invited speaker, Prof Hideaki Shinoda from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies shares his knowledge of Japan's historical peacebuilding process and local government administrative capacity building that were pivotal in the reconstruction of Japan since World War II. Our panellists from JICA, BARMM, OPAPRU and Ateneo will share their insights on Mindanao's peacebuilding processes.
