Assessment Literacy for Teachers
One of the most common questions teachers have raised about emergency remote teaching during the pandemic had to do with how to design assessments that would give valid data about what students have learned. Since then, teachers have learned a lot about the centrality of assessment to effective instruction. What lessons are these and how can we apply these as we move forward to the next normal? What is assessment literacy and why should all teachers be assessment literate? It would be interesting to find out how assessment literate you are and how you can enhance your knowledge and skills in designing, selecting, interpreting, and using high-quality assessments to improve student learning. Find out how in this workshop!
This workshop is part of the Turo-Guro Summer 2022 Workshop series.
