[AGS] Mental Health Week
04 Jan 2023
Mental Health is an incredibly important part of our overall health. It is a combination of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects every aspect of our lives - how we think, feel, and act. It influences how we relate to other people, how we deal with the stresses in our lives, and whether we make healthy or unhealthy lifestyle choices. As we now gradually transition back to face-to-face interactions, it is essential to continue to take care of our mental health to cope and thrive as we face new challenges in this new normal.
Last October 17-21, 2022, the AGS Community celebrated Mental Health Week with the theme: Make a Healthy, Happy You a Priority. This year‘s theme is an offshoot of the World Health Organization focus: Make Mental Health and Well-being for All a Global Priority. The main aim of this globally observed celebration is to bring awareness to and raise support for mental health.
As we start this new year, let us be reminded to try different ways of nurturing and prioritizing our physical, mental, emotional, and social health.
