Who can apply for transfer admission?

Male students currently enrolled as a Grade 1-5 student in an elementary school recognized by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) are eligible to apply, if they meet the following criteria, in their latest report card with LRN (3rd quarter) signed by the Registrar/Principal:

  • a passing mark in all subjects
  • a general average of 78% or higher and
  • conduct marks of 85%, B+, or its equivalent

What are the requirements?

You must be ready with the following documents before proceeding with the application, which will be online.

  • A  scanned copy of the latest report card SY 2021-2022 (front and back pages) indicating the applicant’s Learner Reference Number (LRN)
  • Digital Image of Applicant’s most recent 2x2 ID picture (colored, with white background)
  • Scanned copy of applicant’s birth certificate (PSA/NSO copy)
  • Recommendation form forwarded automatically by our system to the email address of your son’s current teacher, filled out by the teacher and submitted back to our Admissions system
  • Scanned copy of applicant’s certificate of enrollment filled out by your son’s current school indicating the applicant’s Learner Reference Number (LRN). You may download the certificate of enrollment at this link: http://bit.ly/3qIGIPX

If the applicant is not a Filipino citizen, please also submit:

  • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR), and
  • Special Study Permit issued by the Bureau of Immigration

If the applicant is currently enrolled in a school outside the Philippines, also submit a scanned copy of a certification from the school principal stating that the applicant is currently enrolled in their school.

For applicants with dual citizenship, kindly submit any of the four documents below:

  • Valid Philippine passport
  • Certificate of Recognition from the Bureau of Immigration
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Certificate of Re-Acquisition of Filipino Citizenship

How much is the application fee?

The application fee is Php 700. You may pay via our accredited payment channels: BPI (over-the-counter and online), Metrobank (over-the-counter), and the Ateneo Webpay online payment portal (for Visa/Mastercard debit or credit card payments).

Kindly put the applicant's name on the payment slip. The proof of payment will also be uploaded to the online application portal.

How do we apply?

There are two major parts of the application: the online submission and the family interview. These will be done entirely online.

All documents will be submitted at the Ateneo de Manila Grade School admissions portal, https://www.ateneo.edu/gradeschool-application. You will be asked to create an account for the application to proceed. The portal has step-by-step instructions on how to input your information and upload your documents. Once you finish the online application process, the submitted information and documents will be processed.

You will then be invited to a family interview, which will be conducted online. The interview will be done to help us further assess your child’s readiness for studying at Ateneo de Manila Grade School.

What are the important dates?

  • Opening of online submission of applications: 14 March 2022

  • Deadline for online submission of applications: 15 June 2022

Results of applications will be announced three weeks after a scheduled family interview.
