SY 2024-2025 Admissions will open later this year.

Who can apply for transfer admission?

Male students currently enrolled as a Grade 1 to 5 student for SY 2023-2024 in an elementary school recognized by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd.) are eligible to apply. They must meet the following criteria in their latest report card with LRN (3rd Quarter) signed by the Registrar/Principal:

  • a passing mark in all subjects
  • a general average of 78% or higher and
  • conduct marks of 85%, B+, or its equivalent

What are the requirements?

You must be ready with the following documents before proceeding with the application, which will be online.

  • A scanned copy of the latest Report Card SY 2023-2024 (front and back pages) indicating the applicant’s Learner Reference Number (LRN)

  • Digital Image of applicant’s most recent 2x2 picture (colored, with white background)

  • Scanned copy of applicant’s birth certificate (PSA/NSO copy)

  • Recommendation form forwarded automatically by our system to the email address of your son’s current teacher, filled out by the teacher and submitted back to our applications system

  • Applicant’s certificate of enrollment for SY 2023-2024 in his current school, whether the school is in the Philippines or outside the country (front and back pages)

  • Uploaded payment slip stating that the seven hundred pesos (Php 700) application fee has been paid using our accredited payment portals with the applicant's name on the payment slip 

If the applicant is not a Filipino citizen, please also submit:

  • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR), and
  • Special Study Permit issued by the Bureau of Immigration

If the applicant is currently enrolled in a school outside the Philippines, also submit a scanned copy of a certification from the school principal stating that the applicant is currently enrolled in their school.

For applicants with dual citizenship, kindly submit any of the four documents below:

  • Valid Philippine passport
  • Certificate of Recognition from the Bureau of Immigration
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Certificate of Re-Acquisition of Filipino Citizenship

How much is the application fee?

The application fee is Php 700. You may pay via our accredited payment channels Paybiz and Ateneo Webpay online payment portal.

Here are the instructions on how to use the different payment channels.

Please put the applicant's name on the payment slip. You will be asked to upload the proof of payment in the online application portal.

Kindly wait for payment to be processed. Following this, a confirmation will be sent to the nominated email account.

How do we apply?

All transferee submissions are done online.

Submit all documents at the Ateneo de Manila Grade School admissions portal at https://www.ateneo.edu/gradeschool-application.

  • The parent/s or guardian/s applying for a child will be asked to create an account for the application to proceed. Please use a personal email, instead of a work email, in creating an account.
  • Step-by-step instructions on how to input needed information and upload pertinent documents are in the portal.
  • Kindly pay the application fee and wait for the payment confirmation.
  • Upon confirmation of payment, proceed with the application and submission of requirements. Once the online application is done, the submitted information and documents will be processed.
  • Only after verification of information and submission of complete documents can the applicant be scheduled for on-site testing.

Applicants will be informed of the on-site testing schedule. The test will be administered any day in late June 2024.

Release of application results will be announced three weeks after testing.

What are the important dates?

  • Opening of online submission of applications: 31 March 2024.

  • Deadline for online submission of applications: 15 June 2024.
