Darren Uy wins bronze for PH in IMC-Singapore

Ateneo de Manila Grade School mathlete Darren Uy (6-Xavier) won a bronze award for the Philippines at the 16th International Mathematics Competition- Singapore (IMC-SG). According to the organizers, Filipino mathletes bagged a total of 119 awards (nine gold, 36 silver and 74 bronze), making the Philippines the competition’s powerhouse team.
The 16th IMC-SG was held online on September 5, 2020, drawing more than 1,500 math wizards from countries and territories such as Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
