Bautista, Anna Mae D.

Anna D. Bautista is a lecturer for the Development Studies Program of the Ateneo de Manila University. She is a development and management consultant and researcher, with over a decade of experience primarily in public health. She has worked for various corporate, non-profit, multilateral, and government organizations—most recently, as health system implementation expert at the Asian Development Bank, and as part of a team of founders building a company that targets the financial inclusion of disadvantaged segments. She graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Health Sciences, and finished her Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. Her past work often lay in the intersection of development and management—designing and implementing programs; or generating information for management decision-making in development-related organizations, including corporations. Her research work most often involves developing business models, and creating or improving policies, tools, or systems. She is willing to advise work on similar pursuits: Applied research, or the design and implementation of interventions in any development field, though she can offer more guidance on topics related to public health.
