Laurel, David Alexander D.

David Laurel is a part-time lecturer at the Development Studies Program of Ateneo de Manila University. David was previously employed with Nestlé Philippines Inc. as an executive of its Corporate Affairs in charge of CSV for Rural Development. In his work with Nestlé Philippines Inc., he was the first to embed the shared value concept at factory sites in coordination with the local communities. David’s Areas of expertise are CSR validation, Social Enterprise Initiative Design and Implementation, Shared Value in Education and Industry, Development for CSV in the Workforce, Intrapreneurship via Disruption, Implementation of CSV through Community Development, Strategic poverty reversal, Value Chain analysis and constructing CSV Metrics. Additionally, his experience as part of Nestle Philippines’ Supply Chain and Corporate Affairs allows him to share corporate strategies on rural development and corporate sustainability. He is willing to supervise research on community development, collaborations and sustainable partnerships between companies, NGOs and government.
