Biography: 

Rodolfo F.G.R. Narciso, or Rudy, graduated cum laude with a B.S. Degree in Business Management Honors from the Ateneo in 1983. He spent two years taking up MBA units at the University of the Philippines before working in Japan for four years as International Division Manager in AIEX Co., Ltd. Tokyo, an international trading and distribution company for building exterior products. He continued on to manage the Philippine operations of this company from 1992 to 2003. He simultaneously worked under a three-year consultancy contract for the Japan Information & Cultural Center (JICC) of the Embassy of Japan from 2001 to 2003. 
 
Rudy received an M.A. degree in Education from ADMU in 2011, and is presently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Educational Administration at the U.P. Diliman College of Education. He also holds a PRC license as a high school teacher, and has taught Japanese Language at St. Paul College Pasig HS and La Salle Green Hills HS over a number of years. He has also taught Nihongo in two other universities, namely the University of the Philippines (Information Technology Training Center or ITTC) and the University of Asia & the Pacific.
 
Rudy joined the Japanese Studies Program in 1997, and has taught Japanese Language & Culture, Japanese Business Management & Labor, and Education in Japan over the years. He has created and been implementing educational modules for Nihongo for Young People and the Nihongo Camp in summer. For the John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM) Leadership & Strategy Department. Rudy teaches Strategic Issues in Doing Business in Japan and Strategies in the Global Business Environment.
