Aileen del Rosario-Rondilla is an applied anthropologist specializing in business and enterprise development. She received her BA Anthropology from the University of the Philippines and is currently taking MA Anthropology at the Ateneo de Manila University.
Her career spanning nearly 20 years, Aileen advocates the use of multi-sited Anthropology and has successfully integrated her discipline into commercial applications. She has worked
with academic institutions, international research organizations, advertising agencies, and management consultancy firms. She has conducted research on diverse areas such as mid-low income life ways, consumption patterns, shopping behavior, health & wellness, services, retail, and real estate, to name some.
She recently joined the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the Ateneo, bringing into the academe her vast experience in the business space. Outside of her teaching practice, Aileen is a researcher, entrepreneur, design thinker, and writer.
