Ateneo de Manila to return to campus starting January 2022

10 Dec 2021

All Too Well horizontal

After almost two years, Ateneo de Manila University will gradually return to onsite classes starting January 2022.

The January pilot run return to face-to-face classes will be made in phases, beginning with the Loyola Schools and the Professional Schools. Priority will be classes for graduating students.

The campus will also be gradually opened to allow other academic activities such as research, teacher consultation, and counseling and psychological services.

Strict safety and health protocols are in place to protect the Ateneo community. All employees and guests entering our campuses (Loyola Heights, Rockwell, Pasig, and Salcedo) should be fully vaccinated, or undergo the appropriate COVID-19 testing required by government regulations.

As the pandemic situation remains uncertain, all plans are subject to change depending on the circumstances and new directives issued by IATF, DepEd, CHED, DOH, DOLE, the Quezon City local government, and other pertinent government agencies.

Prior to this, the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health started conducting limited on-site classes in the Ortigas, Pasig campus in January 2021. This was done in accordance with government regulations, and with strict health and safety protocols in place.

More information, including detailed guidelines, will be released by the Loyola Schools and the Professional Schools in the coming days.

A separate announcement will be made for the Basic Education schools (senior high school, junior high school, and grade school) in due time.

We’re excited to see you soon on campus, Blue Eagles!
