Welcome to the new ateneo.edu

02 Feb 2022

Homepage Feb 2

After a decade, ateneo.edu, the official website of Ateneo de Manila University, finally gets a long-needed upgrade.

The new ateneo.edu is designed to help our community and the public explore the breadth and depth of Ateneo de Manila's work. We've also realigned our content, putting it in line with Lux in Domino 2030, our University Strategic Plan.

This is more than a design upgrade: Our website has an entirely new content management system, built on Drupal - one of the most secure and most flexible CMS platforms, used by the world's top universities.

Our content, particularly news and events, are also organized in a new manner: instead of by office or school, the primary method of categorizing news is by topic and subject. This makes it easier for the general public, who might not know of the internal workings of the University, to find the information they need.

As the website is still a work in progress, you may find things that might be out of place, or not working. If that's the case, feel free to send a comment to digitalcomms.umco@ateneo.edu.

Meanwhile, the old website, which has content from 2012 up to 31 January 2022, can be accessed at https://2012.ateneo.edu. If you have a link to content made prior to 2 February 2022, just append "2012" to the link (ex: https://2012.ateneo.edu/about).

ateneo.edu will continue to evolve in the coming days and weeks, as we tweak the systems and the design. More content and features will also be added in the coming days, as offices and departments continuously migrate content from the old to the new site. For Ateneo offices, departments, or units that have questions or concerns regarding the migration process, email digitalcomms.umco@ateneo.edu.

We invite you to explore our new website, our new window to the world, and tell us what you think.
