Psychology faculty among the top social scientists in the Ateneo and the country

We are pleased to share with you the 2022 rankings from the AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger ScientiH-index fic Index). The AD Scientific Index shows the total and the last five-year productivity coefficients of scientists based on the h-index and i10 index scores and citations in Google Scholar. It provides the ranking and assessment of scientists in 14,120 universities in 215 countries.

Using a total of nine parameters, the “AD Scientific Index” shows the ranking of an individual scientist by 12 subjects (Agriculture & Forestry, Arts, Design and Architecture, Business & Management, Economics & Econometrics, Education, Engineering & Technology, History, Philosophy, Theology, Law / Law and Legal Studies, Medical and Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Others).

In the Ateneo de Manila University Scientist and University Rankings 2022, seventeen faculty members of the School of Social Sciences are among the 46 ranked academics from the Ateneo de Manila University. Dr. Liane Peña Alampay from the Department of Psychology who is publishing on parent-child relationships, adolescent development, culture, and at risk youth is ranked 2nd in the Ateneo de Manila University and 16th in the country. Also ranked as top scientists in the Ateneo and in the country are Dr. Ma. Regina Hechanova, Dr. Tina Montiel, Dr. Melissa Garabiles and Dr. Ma. Elizabeth Macapagal.
