UKRAINE – According to a report, a massive attack on Ukrainian universities occurred simultaneously with the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. This resulted in at least 30 compromised university websites. The distinguished threat actor behind the attack referred to as “theMxonday”, which stated publicly that they support Russia in this conflict. READ HERE

NEW ZEALAND – A TVNZ investigation uncovered a teaching council’s privacy breach involving the publication of details regarding inappropriate teacher-student relationships online. The breach was caused by an employee who had not received proper training regarding Council procedures.
