Ryu Garcia is Little League PH Series’ awardee for ‘Most RBI’

Ateneo de Manila Junior High School student athlete Ryu Garcia (Pamplona/9-Spinola) is a member of the Pasig Knights, the Pasig baseball team that emerged as Seniors Division champion of the Little League Philippine Series 2022. In addition, Ryu received the award for Most Runs Batted In (RBI).

After besting seven other teams in the NCR, the Pasig Knights moved on to the South Luzon leg of the tournament. Following their victory over Tanauan City in a best-of-3 clash, they advanced to the finals and eventually defeated Zambales and Davao City to win the championship.

The Little League Philippine Series was held from May 16 - June 9, 2022 at the Sto. Niño Baseball Field in Marikina City.
