Jasper De Leon’s “Door of Opportunities” exhibited at Pintô Art Museum year-end show
21 Dec 2022
"Door of Opportunities," an artwork created by Ateneo de Manila Senior High School arts subject area coordinator Jasper L. De Leon, is currently being exhibited at Figuras 2022, the yearend show of Pintô Art Museum. “Door of Opportunities” is an acrylic and oil-on-canvas work measuring 30 x 40 inches.
Figuras 2022 is the second consecutive Pintô Art Museum year-ender to showcase an artwork by Mr. De Leon. Last year, at the museum’s “20|21” exhibit, his vibrant painting “Maria’s Tea Time” (oil on canvas, 24 x 24 inches) was displayed as well.

As stated in the exhibit notes, Figuras “…celebrates representational art through the works of over 150 artists who demonstrate, interpret, and even subvert the figurative ethos…(it is an) exhibition that offers something to everybody, whether it be the curvaceous articulation of the nude, the relaxing view of an expansive landscape, or the depiction of everyday objects that, in some cases, evoke a sense of the sacred.”
Figuras 2022 opened on December 11, 2022, and will run until January 8, 2023, in Pintô Museum’s Gallery 7.
Prior to Figuras, another work by Mr. De Leon was displayed at a Makati art show. “Bugso ng Amihan,” his acrylic and oil-on-canvas painting measuring 24 x 36 inches, was featured in the “Salo Salo 2022” exhibit mounted by J Studio in La Fuerza, Makati.
