ASOG to hold learning session on defining, determining, and dealing with online falsehoods in Singapore on Thursday, January 5, 2023

The Ateneo School of Government, through the Ateneo Policy Center, is set to conduct a learning session together with Wee Kim Wee School of Communication - Nanyang Technological University Associate Professor and Ateneo Policy Center -  School of Government (APC-ASoG) Non-Resident Research Fellow, Dr. Edson C. Tandoc and Project Officer of Centre for Information, Integrity, and the Internet (IN-Cube), Mr. Seth Seet Kai, in the study “Defining , Determining, and Dealing with Online Falsehoods in Singapore” on January 5, 2022 (Thursday), at 10:30 - 11:30 AM.

This learning session will include discussions regarding the definitions and problems of fake news, the various reasons for its proliferation, as well as potential solutions scrutinized through a series of research projects conducted at the Centre for Information Integrity and the Internet at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
