Ateneo de Manila Law School (ALS) is pleased to announce that in the first semester of Academic Year 2022-2023, it awarded 14% of its students financial aid – more financial aid grants than any other year in its history. Through the Aid Upon Admission Cycle, ALS awarded 41 grants to promising students accepted outright with over 60% of those awarded having graduated with Latin Honors. During the Regular Cycle, ALS awarded an additional 75 grants.
This is a testament to the generosity of ALS alumni and benefactors, and a manifestation of the university’s determination to improve access to quality education. ALS is proud to be able to provide more financial aid to those in need. ALS is also pleased to see that this cycle, ALS awarded grants to students from diverse backgrounds, including those from low-income households and first-generation law students from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
ALS believes every qualified candidate should have access to an Atenean Legal Education, no matter their financial circumstances, and ALS is committed to doing its part to make that a reality.
ALS begins 2023 with gratitude for the support it received in this initiative and with the hope that it will continue to grow the aid it provides. ALS look forward to continuing its efforts to provide financial aid to those who need it and to positively impact its community.
