HRep-AdMU Project’s Inception Workshop: In March to Meet the Objectives
March 6 - The HRep-AdMU Project conducted its Inception Workshop in Faber Hall 101 at the
Ateneo de Manila University. Dr. Czarina Saloma-Akpedonu, Ph.D., Dean of the Ateneo de
Manila School of Social Sciences, welcomed the workshop participants in Ateneo. Dr. Majah
Leah Ravago, the Project Leader, discussed the workshop objectives. The Research teams
presented their proposals and established their research direction and methodologies.

Senior Advisers gave their commentaries to their assigned research groups.
Congressional Policy, Budget and Research Department (CPBRD) team members also discussed
and updated the participants on the current policy discussion at the House of Representatives.
An open forum was also conducted. These insights strengthened the research directions and
provided additional perspectives on the research agenda.
The workshop was also attended by Deputy Secretary Generals Atty. Dave Amorin of the
Operations Department and Jef Baquiran of Ctte Affairs Department, CAD Executive Dir. Lina Mortega, Deputy Executive Atty. Narcisa Guevarra, CPBRD Director General Dr. Jun Miral and Senior Ctte Secretaries of CAD.
Hon. Congresswoman Stella Quimbo participated and contributed to further refining the focus
and objectives of each of the research studies. She then signed the Notice to Proceed.
The research teams guaranteed to meet the goals and deadlines of the project.
