Jobog wins silver for PH in Singapore Math Competition

Representing the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila Junior High School mathletes Joaquin Jobog (Montserrat/8-Ishida) and Karl Bilog (Cardoner/7-Andlauer) won silver and bronze awards, respectively, in the International Mathematics Competition (IMC)–Singapore, which was held online on September 18, 2022. Joaquin’s silver was for the Grade 7 division, while Karl’s bronze was for the Grade 6 division.
Philippine mathletes harvested a total of five golds, 57 silvers, and 110 bronzes at the contest, which attracted more than 3000 participants from China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
