AGS golfers top team and indiv’l categories of Guam-PH Golf Cup

Representing the Philippines, four Ateneo de Manila Grade School golfers collected several medals in the team and individual categories of the recent 2023 Guam-Philippines Junior Golf Goodwill Cup.
In the 12U team category, Javie Bautista & Juanton Cruz- both from 5-Ivatan- won the championship, while twins Aiden & Andrei Cruz- both from 6-Gonzaga- bagged bronze in the same 12U team event.
In the advanced individual competition, Javie claimed the gold medal while Juanton secured silver for a strong 1-2 finish for the Philippines. Both Javie and Juanton are members of the AGS Golf Varsity Team.
The 2023 Guam-Philippines Friendship Golf Cup was held at the Leo Palace Golf Club & Starts Guam Golf Resort in Guam, USA, from April 29-30, 2023. Our boys were coached for the event by Chris Guerrero, who was also the captain of Team Philippines.
