Pasion bags bronze in nat’l TKD tourney

Ateneo de Manila Senior High School student athlete Alonzo Pasion (11-Wright) won a bronze medal in the recent Smart/MVP Sports Foundation 2023 Best of the Best Taekwondo Championships’ junior men division, light-heavy category.
Per the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA), approximately 900 male and female black-belters from our country’s 19 regions participated in the prestigious event.
Alonzo was coached by Joey Paja, Angelito Laga and Elmer Rafael for the tournament, which was held on September 2-3, 2023, at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City.
